Being a Teen Time summer staff volunteer is a rewarding way to spend your summer and make a positive impact on young campers. With a variety of roles available, there's somewhere for everyone to put their talents to good use.
Some of the positions we fill each camp are:
Camp Director
Cabin Leader
Wrangler
Lifeguard*
Spiritual Director
Activity Instruction
Dish Worker
Kitchen
To ensure everyone is prepared, we require that staff volunteers attend our training and orientation sessions.
*Position candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a current nationally recognized lifeguard certification.
How to Apply
New Volunteers
New volunteers will be required to fill in an application form and provide 2 references. If under the age of 18 you will also need to have completed our BLAST program.
All Volunteers
All volunteers must submit a current, within the past 2 years, Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and or Intervention Record Check.
Returning Volunteers
Returning volunteers must submit a completed summer volunteer renewal form as well as a a staff information form and notification of risk form to our office.

After submitting a copy of your form will be be automatically sent to the office and emailed to you.

Wrangler Training Spring 2025
March 27-30 2025
Ages: 14+
If you are a current staff member (or will be attending BLAST in the future) and you have always wanted to try working in the barn, this may be the retreat for you!
This retreat is jam packed with opportunities for you to get hands on with our herd. It will be a hard work weekend, and you will gain some incredible horse knowledge, and of course the chance to work on your own riding skills. We will be learning all day about our routines, herd maintenance and barn management, to basic equine safety/first aid.

Teen Time offers an awesome one-of-a-kind staff training program called BLAST (Basic Leadership And Staff Training). The overall goal of the program is to harbour good leaders and encourage them to use their leadership skills in all areas of their lives.
